Ezekiel 29 speaks against Egypt's Pharoah and nation because of its pride and because of its unreliability in its support for Israel. God says: "I am against you Pharoah... I will put hooks in your jaws... I will give you as food for the beasts and birds... I will bring a sword against you and kill your men and animals... I will make Egypt a desolate waste... no one will live there for 40 years... and it will never again rule over the nations". Finally God gives Egypt to Babylon to compensate for their hard work against Tyre. And God will restores Israel's strength (horn) and enable Ezekiel to speak out boldly".
