Today is the birthday of my wonderful wife Liz, known as Betinha here in Brazil. I praise God for this blessing in my life and family. She is an amazing woman whom I dearly love and a dynamic active missionary for God's glory! Happy birthday Liz! 💖😘😍
With just under a month to elections in Brazil on October 4th we ask for your prayers. We will vote for Federal Deputy, State Deputy, 2 Senators, State Governor and President. President Lula is standing for re-election for the 4th time at the age of 80. His main rivals are Flávio Bolsonaro, son of ex-president Bolsonaro who was imprisoned for 27 years for an attempted coup, and Augusto Cury. There will probably be a tight second round run-off for president on October 25th between Lula and Flávio Bolsonaro and who will win nobody knows as the polls are very close!
Yesterday I completed the writing of the synopses of three-quarters of the Book of Acts and we are about to hear his brilliant sermon and testimony in Aramaic to the Jerusalem crowd, having previously just spoken toe the Roman commander in Greek!
Long-term EAB supporter Gillian Parsons has her 90th birthday today at West Wellow! Happy birthday Gill!
