Last night I led the mid-week prayer meeting and Bible study in Patos and lawyer Rayla brought the study from 1st Samuel 7. Her husband Pastor Rafael went up the mountain to our Teixeira church to take the service there as we are especially supporting this church after a change of leadership.
I have just had an email from a West Ham supporter about their match against QPR tonight. As I said to him, may the best team win, as long as its QPR!
I have just seen a Blue-winged Parrotlet in our garden in Patos which I had never seen before, though I have seen hundreds at Green Pastures. It's probably a sign of the horrific drought which is bringing birds into town for food and water.
