Now Paul instructs the church to live to please God more and more. For "it is God's will that you should be holy... avoid sexual immorality... control your own body... be holy and honourable avoiding passionate lust... and don't wrong or take advantage of your brother... for God did not call us to be impure... and love all brothers more and more... lead a quiet life, mind your own business and work with your hands". Paul then goes on to talk about the coming of the Lord. "We believe that when Jesus returns he will bring with him all who have fallen asleep in him... for the Lord will come down from heaven... with the trumpet call of God... and the dead in Christ will rise first... then we who are still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air... so we will be forever with the Lord".
