Hebrews 2 (résumé): Jesus made like his Brothers

Hebrews 2 starts: "We must pay more careful attention... for if the message of angels was binding... how shall we escape if we neglect such a great salvation?... for it is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come... for the son of man was made a little lower than the angels and is now crowned with glory and honour and everything is under his feet... so we see Jesus who was made a little lower than the angels now crowned with glory and honour because he suffered death tasting death for everyone... and in bringing many sons to glory God made the Pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering... so Jesus can say: Here am I, and the children God has given me... and these children have flesh and blood because he too shared in their humanity so that he can destroy the devil who holds the power of death... for surely it is not angels he helps, but Abraham's descendants... and he himself suffered when he was tempted and so is able to help those who are being tempted".
