EAB is 87 years old

EAB's commitment to north-east Brazil (the poorest and most needy region) is 87 years old since our founders Albert and Daisy Mundy landed at Recife docks on September 2nd 1938. From there the Mundys headed for the interior of the State of Paraiba so as "to go where nobody else wanted to go!" It is a hot area of annual severe droughts where there is great need of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in word (evangelism, church planting, Bible teaching, training leadership) and deed (drilling wells, running schools, building toilets, setting up chicken runs and market gardens) for the glory of God. On Friday we went out for a lovely meal to celebrate Isla's 7th birthday. Isla is the daughter of our niece Lisa and granddaughter of my sister Jean.

Yesterday we visited the grave of my parents. My Father died in 2002 on a visit to Patos and my Mother died in 2017 in Basingstoke. We also visited our niece Sarah's grave.

I went to a milkshake shop with my grandson Lucas which sells 180 types of milkshake! I tried one but I didn't like it.

QPR won against Bristol City yesterday coming from behind to win away from Loftus Road 2 x 1. This means QPR are undefeated in 6 consecutive matches with 4 wins and 2 draws, and are now 6th in the Championship which is in the playoffs section. I hope they keep this up for when I see them play Ipswich on November 1st together with my son Philip and grandson Lucas.
